What to send for a quotation
- Part — 2D drawing in PDF and a 3D STEP file
- Material — grade, and whether the blank is billet, casting or forging
- Machine — model and control, table or pallet size
- Volume — batch size and annual volume
- Tolerance — critical dimensions and the surfaces that are datum
- Target — current cycle time, and the cost per part you want to reach
